How We Review Bible Study Guides

How does Bible Momma review products? We are owned by the team behind Everisma, and we say so. Our reviews are built from public facts we can check, like product pages and policies. They are not hands-on tests.

Pricing and what you actually get

We look at what a brand says you get for your money. A price means little without knowing what is in the box. We note the date we checked, because prices change. We look for add-ons, bundles, and anything the page leaves out.

Page count and format

We note how many pages a guide lists and whether it is a book, a printable, or an app. A big book can feel heavy on a busy week. A small one may leave you wanting more. Page count is not the same as quality, but it tells you how much time to plan for.

Whether there's a subscription

We check if you pay once or keep paying. If the brand's site doesn't say, we say it isn't listed. We don't guess. A subscription can be fine if you want new content. It can also be a bill you forget about, so we want you to know up front.

Return policy and shipping

We read the brand's return policy and shipping page. We report what they say, and the date we read it. Policies change, so check the brand's site before you buy. We also look for who pays for return shipping, if the brand says.

Public customer reviews

We read public review sites and sum up the patterns. We link the source and name the date. We never write customer quotes ourselves.

Whether the product is dated

We check if a guide runs on calendar dates. This matters. Dated plans are what make so many of us fall behind. Miss a week, and the whole plan feels broken. An undated plan lets you pick up where you left off. We say which kind each guide is.

Who each product suits

Every review says who a product fits and who it doesn't. That is true even when the product is ours. A guide can be great and still be wrong for you. A busy mom with 15 minutes needs something different than a woman with a free hour.

What we don't do

We don't give our own star ratings. We don't post made-up testimonials. We don't claim we tested something when we didn't.

How we handle our own product

The Simple Bible Study is made by Everisma, and we are made by the same team. So we say it is ours every time we bring it up. We also say who it does not fit.

Links to everisma.com are marked as sponsored links. That's how we keep it honest.

How often we update

Each review shows a published date and an updated date. It also shows the date we checked the facts. If a page looks old, treat the details with care and check the brand's site.
