Hosanna Revival is a small business that turns Bibles into art pieces. It ships all orders from a warehouse in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Its About page says founder Katie Guiliano started it in 2015 while studying in Spain. She "had the idea to re-bind and paint her bilingual Bible." That wording comes from a summary of the page, so treat it as partly confirmed. The page lists 17 team members.

The main product is a full Bible in a familiar translation with an art cover. The store also sells notebooks, a 5-year prayer journal, undated planners, stickers, Bible tabs and sweatshirts. A publishing arm called Hosanna Revival Publishing issues Bible studies written by community authors.

Are Hosanna Revival Bibles really hand-painted?

Mostly the art is hand-painted, but the covers on the regular Bibles are printed. Only the limited custom Bibles are painted one by one.

Their product pages say the covers feature "hand-painted artwork." A Lifeway listing for the licensed CSB edition says each design is "uniquely hand-painted and printed on cloth cover materials." So the art was painted, then printed onto the cover.

The FAQ page, read through a summary, says the founder picks custom submissions a few times a year. Those are the individually painted ones. If you want a one-of-a-kind painted Bible, that is the program to ask about.

Hosanna Revival Bible review: prices and translations

Hosanna Revival sells Bibles in NLT, ESV, CSB, KJV and the Spanish NTV. Prices run from $38.90 to $89.90 across 48 Bible listings, and most notetaking Bibles are $64.90.

Here is what their product list showed on October 7, 2026.

By count, they list 21 NLT Bibles, 11 ESV, 9 CSB, 4 KJV and 3 NTV. Some were on sale that day. For example, a few NLT compact Bibles were $38.90, down from $49.90.

One example of the build. The NLT Notetaking Bible, Cana Theme, is listed as a cloth-over-board hardcover. It has 2-inch lined margins, cream Bible paper, two ribbon markers and Smyth-sewn binding. The type is 8 point, and the book has 1,370 pages.

Hosanna Revival Bible studies and journals

Yes, Hosanna Revival sells Bible studies. There are 22 titles, mostly 4 to 10 weeks long, and most cost $24.90.

The studies are written by community authors. Titles include studies in Habakkuk, Exodus, John and Ecclesiastes, and one for high school girls. Stated lengths in their descriptions are 4, 6, 7, 8 and 10 weeks. One 52-week title, The Everyday Banquet, costs $49.90.

Descriptions offer a free "Day One" or "Week One" preview. We found no calendar dates in any study description. One Advent study is tied to the season, running from late November through the end of the year. We found no statement that calls any study "undated."

Other items include a 5-year prayer journal and an undated planner that says to "start wherever you are at."

Is Hosanna Revival legit?

By the public facts, yes. It is a real business with a named founder, a warehouse city, written policies and products in major stores. It also has a few gaps.

What points to a real business:

• A named founder and a stated start year of 2015.
• A warehouse in Cincinnati, OH, and a support email with posted hours.
• Detailed refund and shipping policies, with a returns portal.
• Products with ISBNs, listed on Amazon with ratings.
• Licensed Bibles from Holman and B&H sold at Target and Lifeway.

What we could not find:

• No Trustpilot page. Both address forms returned "not found."
• No Better Business Bureau profile in a Cincinnati search.
• No phone number or street address on the pages we read.

Hosanna Revival reviews: what customers say

We found little independent review data. No Trustpilot or BBB profile turned up, and no Reddit thread, so we cannot report a complaint pattern. We will not guess at one.

Here is what we did find, as displayed on October 7, 2026.

• Their own site. The NLT Notetaking Bible, Cana Theme page shows 4 out of 5 from 4 reviews. That is their site's number, for one product.
• Amazon. Their NLT Notetaking Bibles show 4.6 out of 5 from 48 ratings, 4.8 from 39, and 5.0 from 8. Smaller counts, so read them lightly.
• Target. One CSB Hosanna Revival Edition shows 5 out of 5 from one review.

The praise on that one product page is about the cover design, the margin space for notes and small drawings, extra writing space at chapter ends, and how easy the NLT is to read. We did not collect review text from other sources.

Returns and shipping

You can return an unopened US order within 30 days, but most returns carry a 10% restocking fee. Orders placed during the holiday rush get 45 days.

The refund policy says orders must be "undamaged and unopened." It says all returns not covered by return coverage bought at checkout "are subject to a 10% restocking fee." International returns are not accepted. If an item has not arrived after 4 weeks, you file a claim in their portal.

Shipping facts, from their shipping policy:

• Processing usually takes 1 to 3 business days. Busy seasons can run 4 to 7.
• Standard shipping arrives within 1 to 3 weeks. FedEx Express delivers in 1 to 3 business days once shipped.
• International orders are offered, and you pay customs. If one is lost, they cover one more shipment.
• The shipping cost is "calculated at checkout." Their FAQ page says orders over $100 ship free in the lower 48 states. That figure is not in the shipping policy text.

Where to buy

You can buy from hosannarevival.com, from Amazon, and in the separate licensed CSB Hosanna Revival Edition Bibles sold by a publisher at big retailers. These are different items.

• hosannarevival.com. Their own Bibles in NLT, ESV, CSB, KJV and NTV, mostly $64.90.
• Amazon. Listings exist for their NLT Notetaking Bibles and for the CSB edition. We could not confirm who the seller is.
• CSB Hosanna Revival Edition. These are published by Holman and B&H, "designed in partnership with" the Hosanna Revival team. Target and Lifeway list them, at the publisher's prices and with different cover designs.

Do not compare a Target price to a Hosanna Revival site price as if it were one Bible. Different cover designs have different prices. Their site also has a wholesale page and a store locator we could not read.

Things to know first

• Catalog covers are printed art, not individually painted.
• Returns carry a 10% restocking fee unless you buy return coverage. We could not find the cost or terms of that coverage.
• The refund policy says "undamaged and unopened." The Returns page summary says "new, unused" and in original packaging. The two wordings do not match, so ask support.
• Returns are for US orders only.
• No phone number, and no Trustpilot or BBB profile, were found.
• Gold foiling has no warranty, per their FAQ summary.

Who Hosanna Revival is a good fit for

• People who want a full Bible with a pretty cover. The covers are the point.
• Notetakers and journalers. The 2-inch lined margins and extra writing space suit people who write in the Bible.
• Gift givers. The site has gift collections and a gift return portal.
• Spanish readers. The NTV line is the only Spanish option we saw.
• Anyone who wants a short topical or book study. Four to 10 weeks is easy to finish, and previews are free.
• Groups buying in bulk. Tiers run from 15% off for 5 or more, per a product page summary.

Who might want something different

A Hosanna Revival Bible is a Bible. Ours is a study guide you use next to a Bible. Those are different kinds of things, and plenty of people would use both.

If you want a study from them, their own studies are the closer match. They run 4 to 10 weeks, with one 52-week title.

It is undated. It has 52 weekly themes. You can't fall behind, because you can start any week in any month. If missing a few days makes you quit, that is the point of it.
