What is a Spiral Bible?

A Spiral Bible is the full Bible text printed in big spiral-bound books with wide margins for writing. It lays flat on a desk, so you can highlight, journal, and take notes next to the verses.

Their site says it divides the Bible into 5 volumes: Law (Genesis to Deuteronomy), History (Joshua to Esther), Poetry (Job to Song of Solomon), Prophets (Isaiah to Malachi), and the New Testament.

The site lists KJV, NLT, WEB, ESV, and NASB in its menu. Full five-volume sets come in NLT, KJV, ESV, and NASB. WEB is listed as the New Testament only, at a clearance price.

The store also sells a 52-week guide, devotionals, pens, highlighters, tabs, and sticky notes. It resells some regular ESV Bibles too.

Spiral Bible prices: volumes, bundles, and the 52-week guide

Single volumes start at $39.99, and a full five-volume set runs $129.99 to $149.99 for most translations. When we checked, the site showed a "Prime Day Sale Up to 60% Off Bundles" banner. These prices are a snapshot and may change.

Is Spiral Bible legit?

By the public facts, yes. Spiral Bible looks like a real business with real policies. It also has a few gaps, and we list both sides.

What points to a real business:

  • It is a Shopify store with published refund, shipping, privacy, and terms pages.
  • The site names a support email and support hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
  • The Better Business Bureau lists Spiral Bible LLC in Dallas, Texas. It shows an A+ rating, no closed complaints in three years, and a business start date of November 27, 2023. It is not BBB accredited.
  • Amazon search shows listings titled "Official Spiral Bible." We could not confirm who sells them.

What deserves a careful look:

  • Trustpilot shows 2.4 out of 5 from a handful of reviews, and the profile is unclaimed.
  • The site lists no phone number or street address.
  • No founder is named on the site.
  • Return wording does not match across pages. See below.

We did not place an order. We can only report what the pages say.

Spiral Bible review: what customers say

Reviews on their own site are very positive, and Trustpilot is low, with only a handful of reviews. The two sources are small and large, so treat them with care.

On their own site. The 52-week guide page shows 4.9 out of 5 from 3,509 reviews. That is what their site says. The reviews are hosted by the brand, so we could not check them outside it. Their Loox review page lists 19,530 reviews in total.

Praise patterns on their site:

  • The pages lie flat.
  • There is room for notes.
  • Highlighters do not bleed through, say many reviewers.
  • The text is easy to read.
  • Splitting the Bible into volumes makes each one feel manageable.
  • Some reviewers liked support after a damaged shipment.

Complaint patterns on their site:

  • The books are big, so they are hard to carry around. One reviewer called it better for home.
  • One reviewer wanted more note room in the guide.
  • One said an email about a content mistake went unanswered.
  • One said an Amazon copy was smaller, with thinner paper, than one bought direct.

Trustpilot. The score is 2.4 out of 5, as of October 7, 2026. It rests on only a handful of reviews, and most are one star. The one-star reviews mention a bad tracking number, pricing and coupon confusion, and slow support. A five-star review mentions quick delivery.

Amazon. Two "Official Spiral Bible in a Year" listings show 4.6 out of 5, from 1,382 and 97 ratings. We could not confirm the seller.

Paper, font, and binding: what the site claims

Their site says the paper is thick, smooth 50lb paper that prevents bleed-through. It lists a 10pt font, 3.5-inch margins, and a copper coil. Several product pages also say the spiral "is guaranteed not to break, or your money back."

These are their claims. We did not hold the book. Reviewers on their site repeat the paper and lay-flat points, as noted above.

One catch. The same specs block shows up on both the Bible pages and the study guide page. So it is unclear if those numbers describe the guide. Margin wording also differs between pages, "3.5in extra wide" in one place and "double-wide" in older descriptions.

Returns and shipping

The return wording on their site does not match, so read it before you buy. The policy page says "All sales are final" and also says they accept returns and exchanges within 30 days after delivery. Product pages say you can return for "a full refund within 30 days."

Here is the plain version of what the policy page says:

  • The order must be new and unused.
  • A restocking fee is taken out of your refund. The site does not say how much.
  • Refunds come within 14 business days.

The About page shows "Money Back Guarantee." So the pages give three different pictures. If a full refund matters to you, ask support in writing before you order.

Shipping. Economy shipping is free over $75. The policy page says 1 to 2 business days to process and up to 7 business days to deliver. Product pages say 2 to 3 days to ship and 3 to 7 days to deliver. Orders ship by USPS. International orders cost a flat $50.

Pros

  • Pages lie flat, so you can write beside the text.
  • Wide margins give real room for notes.
  • Four main translations come as full sets: NLT, KJV, ESV, and NASB.
  • You can start with one volume instead of the whole set.
  • Their site states a 30-day return window and a binding guarantee.
  • Public reviews on their site often mention paper that holds up to highlighters.
  • Free economy shipping over $75.

Things to know first

  • The return wording conflicts. "All sales are final," a restocking fee with no amount, and "full refund" all appear.
  • The price you see may be a sale price.
  • The volumes are large. Reviewers say they are better for home than for carrying.
  • Trustpilot has only a handful of reviews, and the profile is unclaimed.
  • No phone number or street address is on the site.
  • The 52-week guide page says it is theme-based. The same page also says "Study the Entire Bible in One Year." Their site does not settle it.
  • Whether the 52-week guide is dated or undated is not stated.

Who the Spiral Bible is a good fit for

  • People who write in their Bible. Highlighting, margin notes, and journaling are what it is built for.
  • Home and desk readers. The big pages are made for a table.
  • Students. One reviewer on their site bought it for college classes.
  • Visual note-takers. Wide margins leave space to sketch and color-code.
  • Anyone who feels overwhelmed by one thick Bible. Five volumes make each book smaller.
  • People who want a weekly guide with short readings. The 52-week guide gives seven passages a week.

Who might want something different

The Spiral Bible is a Bible you write in. Ours is a study guide you use next to a Bible. They are different kinds of things, and some people will want both.

If you want a weekly guide, their 52-week guide is the closer match to ours. The Simple Bible Study by Everisma is our own product. Bible Momma is made by the team behind Everisma, so weigh what we say with that in mind.

What makes ours different: it is undated, it has 52 weekly themes, and you can't fall behind. You can start any week in any month. Their site does not say if its guide is dated, so we can't compare that point.

The Spiral Bible does things ours does not:

  • It prints the full Bible text, in several translations.
  • It has room to write right next to the verses.
  • It costs less for a single guide.
  • It has softcover and kids versions of its guide.

Here are the stated facts for both guides, as listed on each site on October 7, 2026.
