What is Valorrea?

Valorrea is an online store that sells Christian workbooks, Bible study guides, devotionals, and a few accessories. It lists 10 products in all. Its site says it wants to equip Christians with "defensible faith" and does not promote any one denomination.

The store runs on Shopify. Its own pages are the only place we found to buy the guides.

The Valorrea Bible study guides

Valorrea has two main Bible study guides. One is a 52-week theme study. The other is a book-by-book overview.

| Detail | The Bible in a Year: A 52-Week Study | Bible Study Guide: All 66 Books of the Bible | |---|---|---| | Price | $36.90 | $34.90 | | Compare-at price | $73.80 | $69.80 | | Pages | 224 (per the product images) | 160 (per the product images) | | Format | Spiral bound in photos. Size not stated | 6 x 9 inches. Spiral bound in photos | | What it covers | 52 weekly themes, one per week | One section for each of the 66 books |

The 52-week guide has a weekly devotional, a 7-day reading plan, three reflection questions, and a blessing. Despite the name, the pictured contents are 52 themes. The page does not say the readings cover the whole Bible.

The 66-books guide gives key verses, themes, and study questions for each book. Its FAQ says you can jump around.

The rest of the range has two Systematic Theology workbooks, one for adults and one for kids, plus two devotionals, a journal, and a few small items.

Two bundles are shown on the 52-week page. Two books are $64.90 and three books are $89.90.

Is Valorrea legit?

Valorrea shows the usual signs of a working store, along with some mixed ones. These are the things anyone can check.

On the plus side:

• It publishes refund, shipping, privacy, terms, and contact policies.
• It lists a support email and a contact form.
• It gives a business address in Lewes, Delaware, as stated on its contact page.
• It has 497 Trustpilot reviews, and many describe books that arrived.

On the mixed side:

• The domain valorrea.com was registered on September 9, 2025.
• The site lists no phone number.
• It gives a trade name, Valorrea, and no other company name.
• Its Trustpilot profile is unclaimed.
• Its guarantee length and delivery times differ from page to page.

"Legit" is a big word. We can report what is public. We can't tell you who runs the store.

Valorrea reviews and complaints: what customers say

On October 7, 2026, Trustpilot showed Valorrea at 3.8 out of 5 from 497 reviews. About 61 percent were 5 stars and 8 percent were 4 stars. Three percent were 3 stars, 1 percent were 2 stars, and 27 percent were 1 star.

These notes came from the public review pages on that date. We paraphrase them and name no one.

What reviewers praise:

• Clear, easy-to-follow content.
• Easy ordering and quick delivery.
• Use for homeschool, grandchildren, church classes, and small groups.
• Multi-book pricing for people who bought several.
• Most of the praise is about the Systematic Theology workbooks, not the Bible study guides.

What reviewers complain about:

• Orders that came very late or did not come.
• Emails to support that went unanswered.
• Refunds that were denied, delayed, or only partial.
• Some say returns must be mailed to an address outside the US at the buyer's cost.
• Printing problems, such as typos, missing pages, or a book smaller than expected.

The Better Business Bureau has a profile for Valorrea in Lewes, Delaware. It shows the business as not accredited and not rated. It lists 14 complaints closed in the last three years and 7 customer reviews.

Valorrea's own site shows a 4.8 score from 2,478 reviews on the 52-week page. It also says it is loved by 43,000+ believers. Those are their site's numbers, and we could not check them.

Does Valorrea have an app or a subscription?

Yes, an app exists, per Valorrea's refund policy. The books themselves are one-time purchases.

The policy names the "Valorrea: Grow in Faith App." It says the app includes a 30-day free trial. After that, the subscription renews at $14.98 a month. Charges after the trial are non-refundable, including partial months. The main menu also has a "Manage Subscription" link.

We did not go through checkout. We can't say how or when a buyer is offered the app. If you buy, read the checkout page closely.

Valorrea returns, guarantee, and shipping

The written policy gives 30 days to return an item. The site also shows a 90-day guarantee. The two do not match.

Here is what the site shows:

• The site-wide bar says "90-day money-back guarantee."
• The home page says you have 90 days to work through the workbook.
• The 52-week and 66-books pages say "30-day money-back guarantee."
• The written refund policy says 30 days from receiving the item.

The policy also says:

• Returns need approval first.
• The buyer pays return shipping.
• Used or damaged items are not accepted back, but refunds are still offered with a photo and item count.
• Damaged or defective items must be reported within 90 days of delivery.

On shipping, the site shows both of these:

• The shipping policy says 6 to 8 business days within the USA.
• A product page FAQ says orders typically arrive in 3 to 5 business days.

The policy says an item that is not in stock in the USA may ship from a non-US warehouse. It does not name where. The site shows free shipping on the two-book bundle. We could not find the cost to ship one book.

Who Valorrea is a good fit for

Valorrea fits people who want a lower price or a wider range. Here are some who might like it:

• Budget-minded buyers. The 52-week guide is $36.90 and the 66-books guide is $34.90.
• Someone who wants a short look at each of the 66 books, in any order.
• Parents, grandparents, and teachers who want a workbook for kids ages 6 to 14.
• Church groups looking for apologetics material for adults.
• Buyers who want a compact 6 x 9 book.
• Anyone who wants a daily devotional. Valorrea lists a 365-day one.
• People who want to buy several copies. The bundles are priced lower per book.

Who might want something different

If the app trial, the mixed delivery reports, or the two guarantee lengths worry you, look at other options. Many other guides and stores exist, and our Bible study reviews cover several.

One option is The Simple Bible Study by Everisma. It is our own product. Bible Momma is made by the team behind Everisma.

The two 52-week guides are built almost the same way. Both have 52 weekly themes, a weekly devotional, a 7-day reading plan, three reflection questions, and a weekly blessing. Their product pages also share some of the same wording. Neither structure is special to one book.

The differences are the ones both sites show:

• Price: $49 for The Simple Bible Study, against $36.90.
• Pages: 219 per the product images, against 224.
• Format: A4 hardcover with a lay-flat spiral, against a spiral book with no stated size.
• Undated: Everisma's page says "undated." Valorrea's page never uses that word.
• App: Everisma's page shows a one-time purchase and no app. Valorrea has an app trial.
• Guarantee: Everisma shows a 30-day money-back guarantee. Valorrea shows 30 and 90 days.

Our own refund policy has conditions too. The item must be unused and in its original packaging, and the buyer pays return shipping. Our "no questions" wording does not mention those. We have no public reviews to point to either.
